Microsoft Azure certification (70-534)

After getting my developing (532) and implementing (533) Azure certifications I felt I needed a bit of a break to focus on my life (and work) again, but after a few months I received an email from Opsgility about a 534 course so I decided to get back into the study.  Overall it was quite well structured, though some of it was a bit all over the place.

There's a little overlap between 532/533 and 534, but not that much.  I'd recommend a lot of study and being very comfortable with all topics before attempting the exam.  There are lots of Opsgility, Udemy, and Pluralsight courses and between them all you should be able to cover all your bases.  Read and watch everything you can, and definitely play around in Azure as much as possible.  The 534 course had recently been restructured (udpate: has again now) to include the latest topics like IoT and Event Hubs, and Media Services, so make sure you have all the latest materials.

Either way after all the study was done I managed to pass the exam and am now a certified Azure Architect and MCSE: Cloud Platform & Infrastructure!  Hopefully this leads to some fun projects, and more posts more around architecting solutions and (Sitecore in) Azure.
